In the current Corona - Edition of tymeX the app and the corresponding administration interface is free of charge. We want to give something back to the public and not burden smaller restaurants and businesses with additional financial burdens. For larger companies and restaurant chains there will be an enterprise version of tymeX in the future. We reserve the right to offer this version for a fee.
tymeX is suitable for all businesses and companies which have been obliged to register guest data by the general decrees of the federal states within the Corona pandemic, e.g. restaurants, bakeries, snack bars, pubs, hairdressers. In addition, private persons or clubs can register for the use of tymeX to collect contact data at parties, weddings or club events.
Yes, tymeX offers the possibility to add a company logo and other files, such as a menu or price lists. In addition, customers and guests will be sent personalized emails with your deposited logo, if the guests have activated the notification option in tymeX.
Yes, you can upload and change your menu, price list or other information at any time. You can also add a link to your website, which can be displayed in tymeX.
You can create as many locations as you like free of charge and get a separate account for each location. In the near future we will also offer an Enterprise Version of tymeX, in which you can manage any number of locations under one account. We reserve the right to offer this option for a fee in the future.
In case of an ad hoc control by the local public order or health authority, tymeX offers the possibility to create a list of all checked in guests. Each guest list contains an individual, randomly generated Checkin ID, with which the public order office can match the guests on site on their mobile device.
In case of checks over longer periods of time, you can use tymeX to order the export of the data to the public order or health office for the relevant periods of time.
In your account you create a QR Code for your company. You have to print out this QR Code and place it at the entrance or on your tables. The QR Codes are scanned using the private smartphones of guests and customers. In the Enterprise version of tymeX it will also be possible to create individual QR Codes per table or different rooms and manage them in the tymeX administration interface.
If a guest wants to register and does not have the mobile tymeX app installed, the QR Code will redirect him to the download area in the Google or Apple Store. As soon as the app is installed, the guest can immediately log in with his email. Afterwards the guest data will be retrieved and stored on the mobile device. The next time the guest visits, it is no longer necessary to log in and enter the data again. The guest then only has to scan the QR Code and is checked in at your establishment.
ONLY the guests can see your personal data. Thus we relieve you of the burden of administration and data destruction in accordance with data protection laws. You and your employees CANNOT view the guests' data. In case of controls you will only have an encrypted list of guests and their Checkin ID.

A QR Code is an encoded graphic in which data of various forms can be contained. In the case of tymeX the QR Code contains your identifier for your company and location and the link to the Google and iOS versions of the mobile tymeX app.
Modern smartphones often already have a QR Code scanner integrated in the normal camera app and recognize the QR Code automatically. Usually, the camera app then forwards the link to the browser. There are also QR Scanner Apps available in Apple and Google stores, in the rare case that the camera of the smartphone cannot read the QR Code.
Soon it will also be possible to register the guest via a smartphone of your company. In this case the data must be queried and entered by your employee. In the Enterprise Version it should be possible to receive the data from the guest also contactless via his telephone. These are then read in automatically. After the guest leaves your company, the recorded data is automatically deleted after the legal retention period.
Then, according to current regulations, the guest must at least have his data recorded on a paper form.
You can re-create your access data at any time via the registration form by clicking the "Reset password" button. You will first be sent an e-mail that will redirect you to a website where you can reset your password.
Guests can check themselves out in tymeX at any time when they leave your company. In addition, the guest has the possibility to define his or her retention period and will be checked out automatically after the retention period has expired. If the guest decides to stay longer than originally defined in tymeX, he will be reminded by tymeX shortly before expiration and can extend his stay by confirmation. This ensures that the guests always check out promptly and your employees do not have to keep track of this.
You must perform steps 1-3 ONLY ONCE. Your personal data will be stored in the app and you will be able to check in at any restaurant in the future WITHOUT having to re-enter your data each time. All you have to do is scan the QR Code with tymeX.
You don't have to wait for the waiter to bring you the menu. This is clean and hygienically available in tymeX if it has been uploaded to tymeX by the restaurant.
NO, only you have access to your data and can view and control it at any time. In addition, you have the possibility to have your data deleted from our servers at any time. This is easily done in your tymeX account by clicking the button "Clean up my data". All data will then be deleted from our servers after the legal retention periods have expired. We attach great importance to transparency and data security, i.e. your data will be stored exclusively on TÜV certified servers in Germany and you can download your data at any time in various formats for viewing and further processing.
